100K Cycle:Experienced cyclists are challenged with scenic views of the EastLake area and neighboring hills to the east. Riding over the bridge on Hwy 125 in both directions, viewing the expanse of the countryside to the east and west of the bridge, looping past Southwestern college, the Olympic Training Center and out past Otay Lakes to the intense 7 mile climb up beautiful Honey Springs Road. This year you wont want to miss out on the Honey Springs Challenge!! Top three men and women to conquer the incredible hill will win prizes! Price: Adult $67, Youth 12 and under $45 Route (Route could change due to permits)
25 Mile Cycle:Follows the 100K route before curving away from the steep incline in favor of long, slow hills and smooth, flat roads to even things out. Price: Adult $57, Youth 12 and under $35 Route (Route could change due to permits)
18 Mile Mountain Bike & Poker Ride: This challenging course by the Olympic Training Center is not for the faint of heart. At five points along the course, cycling card sharks will have an opportunity to collect their aces, kings and queens to see who will cash in with the best hand at the finish line. A sixth, bonus card will be handed out at the end of the race.Price: Adult $57, Youth 12 and under $35 Poker Route (Route could change due to permits)
Family Roll & Stroll: 5K fun for everyone – joggers, walkers and doggies too! Any age, any speed! The Roll and Stroll is a great event for all ages! Price: $60 for up to family of 6 New Routes Coming Soon (Route could change due to permits), Individual Price: $30 5K Route
EastLake Half Marathon & 10K: Discover why Eastlake is nicknamed “Chula Joya”, beautiful jewel, by those who know the area. The Eastlake Half Marathon & 10K showcases some of the Gems of the Chula Vista Park District, our exceptional mountain and lakeside views and well-maintained, low-traffic running trails. Additional Information: They course is not USATF certified, many trail courses are not certified distances as trails are difficult to certify to the accuracy of required road races. These runs will be chip timed. Results will be posted on our website and we will also send them to Athlinks. We will not be offering prize money. 1/2 Price: $68, 10K Price: $58 EastLake Half Route EastLake 10K Route
All registered Cycle EastLake & Run participants will receive a colorful commemorative T-shirt, goodie bag and refreshments at the start line. *Additional T-shirts are available for purchase ($10 ea.).
FUN FOR ALL AFTER THE RIDES & Runs
Rest stations will provide water and each route features arrows or guides at every turn. Roving mechanical support will be available on the 25 mile and 100K routes. A mid-point snack will be provided on the 18 Mile Mountain Bike and 100K
Cycle EastLake & Run is a participatory event, not a timed race. Bike helmets are required and bike checks are recommended. Please be safe and obey all traffic signals; all roads are open to automobile traffic. Only bicycles are allowed for the 25 Mile and Mountain Bike & Poker Tour events. Cyclists are invited to participate in the 100k event. Children 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by an adult on all rides. Courses are subject to change due to weather, road construction and other unforeseeable conditions.
We can definitely use your help getting ready for the event, and on event day. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to become a volunteer. Community service verification letters will be available, if needed. All volunteers receive a colorful event T-shirt.

All proceeds from Cycle EastLake & Run benefit six public schools supported by the EastLake Educational Foundation, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization.
