Please consider making a generous gift to the EEF that will benefit students and teachers in EastLake’s public schools. Whether your donation is large or small, it signifies your confidence in our schools and our students – every donation makes a difference!
There have been budget cuts of $4.4 billion statewide since the 2008-2009 school year. In this upcoming year, more than ever, we will be facing potentially severe budget cuts in our districts. We anticipate that the role of the foundation to provide support for the technology needs will be of even greater need to maintain progressive programs for our children.
Business Donor Program
The Business Donor Program is a way for community businesses to support our schools. Businesses can donate funds, or provide in-kind gifts that we are able to place in our event auctions. Businesses are recognized for their support, and offered variable sponsor benefits depending on the value of the donation.
Many for-profit organizations offer their employees the opportunity to increase a charitable gift by applying for a company gift match through their corporate foundation or special charitable fund. Please check with your employer to see if they have a Company Matching Gifts Program that could possibly increase or double your gift to the EastLake Educational Foundation.
To complete your employer’s matching Gift Form, you will need the following information:
Name & Address:
EastLake Educational Foundation
P.O. Box 210004
Chula Vista, CA 91921
Tax ID Number: 33-0678106
The EEF is dedicated to ensuring that funding for technology will always be available from the EEF for future EastLake school students to benefit from. To help accomplish this goal and in celebration of the EEF’s 10th Anniversary, an Endowment Fund was established to sustain the future of the foundation.
Individuals and families may become members of the Fund for the Future by making an outright gift or bequest gift benefiting the EEF Endowment Fund.
Outright gifts include cash, securities, property, or other marketable assets. Bequest gifts can be made through your will, living trust, beneficiary designation of life insurance or retirement plan/IRA, creation of a life income agreement (including a Charitable Remainder Trust, Gift Annuity, or Pooled Income Fund), or a gift of a remainder residence (Retained Life Estate).
The Board of Directors is committed to contributing a minimum of 10% of annual earnings to the Endowment.
Thank you for your deeply valued support to our organization and for sharing our vision that every child deserves a safe educational environment which honors and promotes the development of students’ academic, social, emotional and physical well-being. You are truly making a difference in our community.
