There have been budget cuts of $4.4 billion statewide for the 2008-2009 school year. In this upcoming year, more than ever, we will be facing potentially severe budget cuts in our districts. We anticipate that the role of the foundation to provide support for the technology needs will be of even greater need to maintain progressive programs for our children.

Volunteer
The Foundation welcomes individuals who would like to assist with special events, fundraising, public relations, and administrative tasks. Creative suggestions for fundraising are also welcome. Please contact us directly and llet us know about your desire to donate your time and talents..


Business Donor Program
The Business Donor Program is a way for community businesses to support our schools. Businesses can donate funds, or provide in-kind gifts that we are able to place in our Golf Tournament and Gala event auctions. Matching Donations
You can easily increase the value of your donation to EEF through your employer’s Matching Gift program. EEF is a tax-exempt charitable organization which is eligible to receive matching gifts. Many companies have such programs available to their employees and will double the value of your gift by providing a 100% match. Applying for a corporate match is easy, and some corporate intranet sites allow for employees to apply directly online. Others provide forms that can be printed and mailed. Check with your HR department, or email the Foundation for match verification. To complete your employer’s matching Gift Form, you will need the following information:

Endowment Fund
In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the EEF, an Endowment Fund was established to ensure support of our schools for years to come. The Board of Directors is committed to contributing a minimum of 10% of annual earnings to the Endowment.
